Oahu gear rental for self-guided shore diving? Best deals? Where to go?

Hi guys,
We will be visiting Oahu for 3 weeks in July 2015. Scuba diving won't be our focus for this trip, but it would be nice to rent some gear and explore local shore diving sites. As we are both very experienced divers, we prefer to do self-guided shore diving. Are there any dive shops or clubs that offer good deals on rental gear?

Try Surf N Sea on the North Shore...... You could spend 3 days exploring all that Shark's Cove, 3 Tables, Firehouse and the Haliewa Trench have to offer.

Gerie, what's your availability and dive ability? I'm always looking to expand my dive team.
I generally side mount two 80s, but occasionally bring out the 120s for the bigger dives.
I'm free all day most weekends.

Dived at 3 Tables today and it was MINT! 2 small turtles, zebra moray, titan scorpionfish, viper moray, juvi whitemouth moray, huge tiger cowrie and an octopus. Even with the surf at 1-2 it was mellow. Let the SHORE DIVING SEASON BEGIN!!!!!!!

Honolulu Scuba Company offers rental gear to go. We'll pack it the night before, put your name on it and have it waiting for you when you come in. About 10min from Waikiki. Gear must be reserved online the night before by 5pm to take advantage of that service. $50 for a full set with 2 tanks. Here's the link:
