Greets all,

I used to live on Oahu and did a lot of shore and kayak diving (YO-257 was my favorite), including a few light dives here and there.

The most memorable was Kaka 'Ako with the exception of getting towed...
I'm going to be visiting next week and looking for recommendations for shore sites on weeknights. Bringing a little video rig so ideally looks for stony corals to shoot.

Any recommendations?

Right now I am diving mostly Kahe Beach ( electric beach), tracks and Makaha. A few weeks ago we hit Halona Blowhole. Because of winter swells, where I dive is completely dependent on conditions.

For great stony coral, Halona Blowhole is perfect. Parking can be a bit tricky there as it is a tourist stop too.

Unless electric beach has changed...will my car still be there after the dive?

How is blowhole at night, decent access? I would think less tourist parking.
