Florida West Scuba and Charters is seeking a fully qualifed DM. We are a NAUI, SSI, and PADI dive center, certification by any of these would be acceptable. Candidates should be physically fit, and capable of meeting USCG standards for crew members. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and safety record. Duties include but are not limited to: Loading and unloading vessel for dive operations; presentation of dive and other briefings; issuing divers gear and assisting with gear set up; performing site check dives; assisting divers in and out of the water including tank changes; perform duties as rescue diver as necessary; assist the Captain in maintaining an orderly and safe dive operation; clean up of vessel and equipment at the end of days operation. This is a job for a reliable person who likes people, and while working conditions are enjoyable, the work is hard and the days are long.
