We are looking for an energetic all rounder resort manager/ PADI dive instructor to operate and run our unique dive centre and resort in MABUL,Malaysia.. We are a dynamic dive center with a lot of opportunity for growth for Diving professionals who want more responsibility and a chance to be part of our unique set up - a diving platform!
As well as resort manager duties, you may have to instruct PADI courses and occasionally take divers out to the many dive sites Sipadan has to offer! Beginners are welcome to apply
We are looking for a long term position, to start any time now.
Requirements:
· PADI OWSI or more in current teaching status
· People handling and management of a dive team
· Fluent English
· Other languages (Chinese ) would be an advantage but not necessary
Daily activities may include:
Organize the dive schedules for the day trips
To manage and oversee day to day operations of the Resort
Ensure boats, generators and compressors are maintained and serviced.
Teach (DSD to Dive master) when needed.
Oversee and manage Dive equipment and stock
To maintain standards on this unique operation and keep customer satisfaction high.
Preferable to have a tech background with sidemount, rebreather and/or cavern specialities.
Knowledge about boat service, gear maintenance, reception, customer care, general maintenance, sales, bar management would be an asset
