Last weekend, I was in the pool helping a fellow DM candidate do her skill circuit (skills requiring a buddy). Afterward, I switched from my regular back inflate BCD to my newly acquired Dive Rite SS standard harness with Venture 360 wing (the trapezoid donut looking one). I did a weight check, some adjustments, and then just played around a bit.

First impression: my trim has never been as good as that day. I was able to move along about 3-6 inches from the bottom of the pool with nothing dragging. The harness was much more comfortable than my BC. I could more comfortably and easily invert (nose down, feet up), or swim along the wall. It felt like I was wearing nothing at all.

I can't wait to take it into open water. My last true revolution in diving was getting a drysuit. I think this is another one.
