A friend of mine asked me the other day if I knew who Bill Main is and I said that I did. She asked because her dad said he knew someone named Bill Main a long time ago and who scuba dived, but the Bill Main he knew was living in Maryland at the time. My friend said her dad wondered if it was the same Bill Main...I told her I would post the question on SB for her.
So...Does anyone know if Bill Main ever lived in Maryland
She knew his middle name...I am assuming her dad did also, or just knew a Bill Main. The reason she asked was because he got certified last summer, I think, and had been looking at scuba equipment online and somehow came across his name. Whether he knew his middle name before or learned about it online...I dunno. He knew that her and I were friends and that, since I had been diving for a long time, that I may somehow know? How the hell would I know But I promised her I would ask.
