    OMS BP Harness

Hey BP & W guys. Took delivery of a BP with the crossed shoulder harness a left shoulder buckle. Just buy looking at it in person, I'm not impressed. Has anybody tried this. The description sounded great, but in person I see some things that could be better. Shouldn't the crossed straps behind the head be connected because on a tank it looks more like a Hog harness. It was also delivered with the chest strap facing to the outside. Anyway I won't get it wet until I decide to keep it or send it back. The OMS steel plate is a thing of beauty. I have used the Hog style before, but had a little problem with shoulder slippage. Thought I would try this. Thanks

OMS has a deserved reputation for extremely poor warranty service and abysmal customer service. Smart divers stay away from anything OMS.

On the assumption that you got one "pre-threaded", they may have threaded it wrong (which would be supported by the chest strap face the wrong way). It shouldn't be that difficult to take it all apart and re-thread it. Maybe post a pic to show how it looks wrong?
