Yep, "back then" we actually had some TV shows worth watching. I loved Rockford and Magnum and rarely missed an episode (seeing many of them more than once). There is hardly a show on TV these days that I'll waste the time to watch!
Of course if we go WAY back, there was Windy Dink... perhaps the first interactive TV show with the plastic overlay you put on the TV screen to draw things like bridges for Winky to cross canyons.
