How many SBers does it take to discuss the purchase of a pony bottle?
ONE to post his experience after he has already bought the pony.
FOURTEEN to share similar experiences of buying pony bottles and how the choice could have been made differently from the way the OP did it.
SEVEN to caution about the dangers of buying the wrong size pony.
ONE moderator to move the post to the Tanks forum
TWO to argue in favor of leaving it in the Advanced forum.
FOUR to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about buying pony bottles.
FIVE to flame the "grammar nazis"
THREE to correct spelling/grammar flames in the "grammar nazi" posts.
SIX to argue over whether it's "pony bottle" or "pony tank" ... another SIX to condemn those 6 as stupid.
TWO industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "cylinder"
FIFTEEN know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "pony bottle" is perfectly correct.
THREE to post that the use of pony bottles is most appropriate to technical diving and to please take this discussion to a tech forum
TWENTY-FOUR to defend the posting to this forum saying that anyone can use a pony and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum
THIRTY-SIX to debate which method of carrying a pony is superior, the advantages and disadvantages of mounting valve up or down, vs slingling; how to balance the rig, etc.
SEVEN to post URL's where one can see examples of different mounting and slinging methods
FOUR to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
THREE to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes pony bottles relevant to this group
FIVE to say "do a search" or "why isn't this a sticky" or "oh, no, not THAT post again" or post a popcorn box icon.
SIX to post that carrying a pony bottle is not necessary if you do adequate gas planning, three of whom are going to recommend the OP spend his money on Fundies rather than a pony bottle.
ELEVEN to quote the entire preceding post and add "+1"
FIVE to post to the group that they will no longer post because they sick to death of the pony bottle controversy
FOUR to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
ONE forum lurker to respond to the original post 18 months from now and start it all over again.

Reason: TS&M reminded me I had missed a few!
You completely forget the six that post that carrying a pony bottle is not necessary if you do adequate gas planning, three of whom are going to recommend the OP spend his money on Fundies rather than a pony bottle
