Ginger was pretentious and thought she was something special. She was not particularly attractive. Stereotypical "dumb blond." Mary Ann had no pretensions. She was intelligent and truly attractive. I'm speaking of course about the show's characters, not the actresses who played them.

Gilligan, BTW, was a well-meaning, friendly, muddleheaded bumbler. He was not the jerk described by the OP in the thread from which this one was spun off.

I am gratified that as of this posting, Mary Ann is ahead 24 to 4.

I choose both. I'm not greedy, I'm just not super picky either...

Both is the greedy choice. Or, at least, the highly optimistic choice. The "not picky" choice is either.

Is that, Ginger, Mary Ann, and Gilligan? Or does Mrs. Howell flesh out--so to speak--this foursome?

Ginger for me, if I have to choose.

Everything I post is an opinion; I do not pretend to have any facts to offer. Much of what is posted here is in jest, and is not intended to be taken seriously. The sarcasm is often so subtle it's hard to detect.

For those of you choosing both, you may want to reconsider. After all, it is a rather small Island.
