Funny if it wasn't so terrible

I have never seen anyone dive a rebreather with split fins before, not that that is a bad thing. Their buoyancy and trim are deplorable though. Plus their handling of creatures and touching everything is not the way to teach people to dive in a marine sanctuary.

Rusty Berry has a long history of uploading videos of horrible rebreather students. One of his worst was a class riding Angel sharks at Catalina.

This is a good example of divers with equipment beyond their skill base. It is also a good way for them to get hurt. I bet none of them are monitoring their computers.

If I were them, I would sell those rebreathers and reinvest the money in a good private instructor.

Thanks, I had to do maybe 20 seconds of googling to find this thread.

I wish Rusty would put that video back up (In response to the riding the angel shark vid). It was always good for generating several dozen posts.

Oh my...

The true reviews are classic examples of how not to run a business.

I'm so confused....why is no one stopping or discouraging the blatant harassment of sea life...it's like a bunch of drunk bros diving. I'm super new to diving so I can't comment on the equipment...care to explain what else is wrong ?

I was hoping that something would bit one of them. I wouldn't have expected that kind of behavior from advanced divers who should know better.
