Hi everyone,

I just finished the first part of my certification a few months ago, and will finish the next half later in January.
One thing I've always been interested in was underwater photography...and just my luck, I was in a thrift store and came upon this Ikelite water housing.

I paid 200 for it. I'm not sure if I got ripped off or not. I understand it's meant for a very specific camera...and that's the problem! I don't know which one. Based off of the things I've been able to look up, I'm thinking it's either the Nikon D80 or Nikon D100? Both are very old cheap cameras, which is fine by me. At this point, I'm not trying to get the latest and greatest.

Anyway, can someone perhaps tell me more information regarding this housing? I've been thinking of taking it to a camera shop in San Francisco to get it serviced, but I'd also like to know what kind of Camera would fit in it. There is no serial number.

Also, just out of curiosity, how much do you guys think this is worth, as is? Trying to justify my impulse buy...lol.

By the way, very first post here! Wooo I can't wait to officially join the world of Scuba Diving. :D

Based on photographs, this housing appears to be a non-TTL version for the Nikon D100. If you can find a 4 or 5 digit number stamped into the acrylic back, send it to me at brett@ikelite.com.

Best Regards,
