The LED bulb on my Pro-V8 recently flooded. Don't know why, I am not complaining about a defective product or anything like that, it just happened after ~ 4 years of use. I figured, 'OK, I will go online and see what a replacement part will cost' and - to my chagrin - found the Pro-V8 unit has been discontinued. On the Ikelite website it appears that replacement parts are no longer available. The only 'Alternative' product listed is the Vega, which is frankly a bit pricey - "550 MSRP compared to the much more reasonable price of the original Pro-V8, $299 MSRP.

Anyone have suggestions for a comparable replacement video light, or a source for a replacement LED to fit the housing?

I too, have a bad pro-v8 and are looking for a replacement.

vega does looks good,
don't forget to consider a sola 2000F $399
