PADI DM few Qs Re: insurance

I got cert as a DM PADI in Aug and had a few questions regarding fees and insurance.
Im aware there is a yearly fee, but when do I have to pay the first one by? Is the auto pay option on the PADI pro site the best? What should it be? the 94.50$ and till when will that be good for?

Also about insurance. I plan to get my Discovery Scuba option soon. I got my PADI DM in USA but I am in Europe. What insurance will cover me (and any students)? Also, do I need to do anything to be able to assist out in Europe and do the DS?

Anything else I should be aware of?

    Thank You

You will need to pay your first fee on qualificatio and then annually on 1 January. PADI International do an auto renewal using Direct Debit. Saves a lot of problems.

As far as insurance is concerned I recommend DAN Europe. It has excellent professional insurance and is worldwide. Can be done on line and if you are in Europe payment is in Euros.

Are you working within PADI Europe or PADI international as service office?
PADI International offers a very competitive insurance over DAN and PADI US which is excellent
