If anyone is interested, I finally put together the video I took on this trip. It was a FANTASTIC trip and I can honestly say probably the best vacation I have ever been on. We were REALLY lucky with the weather the week we were there. Sunny everyday and almost no wind. Just enough to cool you down.
Almost all of this video was shot on a GoPro HD. I had to chop out the tour I did of the Carpe Vita live-aboard we were on so I could get the video into 2 parts to fit on YouTube as they have a 15 min limit on videos. It makes the beginning of the video look a bit rough going from landing in Male to suddenly underwater.
Sorry for the dirty windows!!
If anyone is REALLY interested in seeing the boat, email me and I'll send you the link to download the entire video file (2.4 gigs).

Life is short. Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love deeply, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that makes you smile.
Not everyone who reads SB is looking to learn how best to use their new snorkel. Some are here just hoping to get the chance to tell someone else exactly what they can do with their new snorkel. While others are trying to sell their old snorkel. (gypsyjim)
That's really cool! Nice job!!! Definately a fun group to hang with!
If you want to post the whole video, I would be willing to post the whole thing on my Youtube channel if you'd like. I don't have the 15 minute cap anymore...
These are really beautiful. Although totally off topic, I really liked the music you selected for your videos. I feel like it really works well with the shots you took...
It looks like you had an amazing trip. Not gunna lie, I'm totally jealous right now and wish I were there...
Thx Frankenstein.... I like try to say something/create a certain atmosphere with the music I put to a video as well as the video itself.
It was a fantastic trip I just cant say that enough. I'd been to the Maldives 2 years before and stayed at a resort but being on the live aboard brought the Maldives experience to a totally new level. I hope I can make it back there in the next few years. I also met a number of new friends on the boat that where from various places around the world that I hope to see again on another trip someday.
