Newly Certified

Hello all! My husband and I completed our OW cert. 2 weeks ago. Been lurking the scubaboard ever since. I have found what I have read so far extremely helpful.

Went snorkeling in the Dry Tortugas in June and got hooked. Took my OW dives in a cold lake in inclement weather. Now I can't wait to dive again, although no trips planned in the near future. Would love to go to Bonnaire in the spring....my LDS has a trip planned.

Welcome to a great sport, but that's a long dry spell. I live on the high desert, but I'm bothered about having to go nearly 3 months without a dive. Still thinking about a cold one next month...??
