I am just a newbie to the sport, and have just finished my first class about three days ago. I am hoping that this is the place to increase my knowledge of the sport. And increase my enjoyment of the sport as well.

After one makes so many posts they graduate to "regular member", "senior member"etc. etc. I think regular member should be a mandatory prerequisite to advanced open water diver certification.

Welcome to the board! Make sure you fill out your profile a bit so we can answer your questions easily. There are plenty of great people on this board, I've met a lot of new friends in the time I've been here! This is a great resource for diving information!

Welcome aboard. There is some great information here and a lot of great advice but don't forget continued education with an instructor. There are a lot of things to do in SCUBA and a lot of adventures are waiting for you.

Again Welcome Aboard.

I'm new too - my class starts in May, so you are ahead of me. Cheers.

Howdy and welcome to SB!

I'm on Cozumel Is tonight - checking in from a cafe terminal - but wanted to say Hi.

Good to have you here. Click here to PM me if I can help you get started in our various forums.
