Just "discovered" this site. Wonderful way to stay in touch with other divers and get info (hopefully good info) on dive locations I haven't been to. I've been diving since 1977 (I know I'm old enough to be your father) and still going strong. I can no longer take the cold water of Monterey Bay so do my diving in Mexico, The Caribbean, Central America, Australia and Hawaii.
Always looking for good input regarding new sites and I'm willing to let you know what my experiences have been. By the way, any thoughts on Roatan? I'm thinking of taking my son there next Summer.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Greybubbles, welcome to scubabaord! I have not been to Roatan yet (I'm going in October staying at Coco View).

Sometime you might look into Bonaire great place to go do your own thing.

Welcome, greybubbbles, and fear not, there are a sizeable number of "elder statesmen/women" divers on this board. (including me!!) :)

Best of luck,
Mike
