Wondering if anyone knows about a ppa induction course?

hey all being abit of a noob diver just wondering if anyone out there knows what a ppa induction course for diving is and a 2299 as and nz diving medical is. is it the same medical we have in aus to get the open water ticket thanks hope someone knows.
