Hello from Minnesota.

I am new to Scuba Board and just wanted to get started by making a quick post.

The ice is on the lakes, but it won't be long before it is thick enough to cut a hole in.

I sure don't envy you! About the only time we get ice here in South Carolina, close to the Blue Ridge mts is in January or February..and we think its a really big deal..every body dashing out to buy bread and milk at the first hint!!! Still haven't figured that one out.....here where I'm from we have a place to dive called the Hot Hole in Lake Keowee. It stays approxiamately 72 degrees year round so there are plenty of divers that go regardless of how cold it may be. The rest of the year is super dive time and we can dive from (for those of us who are not cold water adpa) March to October.
Welcome there are a ton of info on this site....see ya on the site !!!
