Hi! I am brand new to diving - I have my open water cert in Monterey this weekend. Whoo-hoo! I am so excited to start diving on a regular basis. I see a lot of drives to the coast in my future. I will probably do my next couple of dives through the shop where I'm getting certified... but after that I'm going to be looking for buddies! Hopefully there are a few of you out there that have patience for an enthusiatic but safe newbie. I am DYING to go to the Channel Islands!!

I have only had my AOW cert for a little over a year which is about how long I've been diving so I am fairly new too. I received my cert in South Carolina where I am from. I am looking forward to some (actually A LOT) of ocean adventures since I have only have lake experience. I am so excited about the dive scene. I never thought I could ever do this let alone actually DO it ! Wouldn't give it up for nothing now...got alot of catching up to do.....
