I have been a certified diver since 1977 with over 100 dives (caverns, high altitude, rivers, lakes, Carribean, Thailand, deep) but have had major gaps in diving frequency since then. Over the last five years, I have been getting back into the sport and have noticed how much more conservative (read SAFER) the sport has become with regards to limits, computers, etc. In researching some dive locations recently, ScubaBoard keeps coming up. Rather than look in from the outside, thought I'd join.

Excellent breadth of experience there GlacierCity! Welcome Aboard!!

I'm sure you'll find lots of interesting stuff in here... and from your background sounds like you'll be welcome contributor as well. 8^)
