Hi Everyone,
My name is Danny Ortiz, and I am looking for a dive buddy. I like to shore dive to
start off with and ahead to boat diving. I am very comfortable in the water.
I want to keep diving once I start up again. It has been two years since I last drove.
I am ready to go. Today I wanted to go alone. I know that isn't a good idea. However
I didn't go. I am hoping that I can find some regular diver that want to go dive off shore .
Thanks,Danny Ortiz

Welcome Danny,
If you haven't dove in a long time, I recommend doing a refresher in a pool with an instructor or DM before hitting the ocean. If you need help finding one, send me a PM. As for finding buddies in SoCal, check out the following forums:

Beach Crabs and Laguna Sea Dwellers sub forums

Also divevets.com is a board for locals diving Veterans Park in Redondo Beach.

Lastley, joing a dive club at one of the local dive shops. Pacific Wilderness has a large and very active club www.pacificwilderness.com with lots of activities.

Welcome to Scubaboard.
