Hello from Santa Monica

Can anyone recommend a good weekend diving trip close to Santa Monica, California? Also, can anyone recommend a good live aboard in the Channel Islands for a weekend getaway? I'm in diving withdrawal and don't have alot of time to go, but want to go this summer/fall somewhere close and cool. Thank you for all suggestions in advance.

Catalina is an option... diving the Casino Point dive park. You may consider the Peace out of Ventura, or any of a number of boats here in the LA area. You can find out the local dive boat schedule by checking the California Diving News website.
