Never posted. I was wondering if there are any active local Santa Barbara or SoCal divers here. Also if anyone is in Oahu, Hawaii I will be there in Aug. and would like to make several dives with a local dive buddy. I have gas $$$ for anyone with a zodiac or small boat. I am a Commercial dive student and have been finishing up my SSI Assistant Instructor ( Dive Guide, Dive Master, Dive Control Specialist, Assistant Instructor.) I work for a dive shop in SB. I am confident and use to very bad viz... I just want to make the most of my first warm water/good viz dives and hit the cathedrals... and or some nice spots. Get back to me If you have any recommendations, I am not looking for a dive charter or business to go with. I would still be renting a tank and weights if anyone has a good recommendation for who to use. I can be reached here or atjohnndavidfielding@gmail.com. Also my co-worker is from the islands and has some friends who dive... so they may or may not be tagging along or possibly leading the way.

Thanks JDF

Welcome to :sblogo:!

You may want to post your individual questions in the local subforums -- we have a SoCal subforum, and a Hawaii one as well. I know there are a LOT of active Southern California divers on this board, and I found a local buddy on Maui here, too.
