Im going to get my Open Water cert in the next month or two mattering on class availability so I thought I would join and start reading up on all of the info I can.

Have you signed up for your class yet? Where in the state are you?

Do read the sticky threads in the New Divers subforum, on how to find a good dive instructor. My husband and I were reflecting yesterday on how little we knew when we signed up for open water class. We had no idea that classes or instructor were different, or that it mattered what you actually learned. It does! Feel free to ask any questions that occur to you here -- there's a huge brain trust to answer them.
