Well I did it. I bought my gear! I live near the Redondo Canyon and got tired of seeing divers all the time going in and out of the water so I finally bought my gear. I've been certified for 20 years but have mostly been a vacation diver with about 30 total dives but plan to chance that immediately. That being said, vacations to Australia, Thailand, and Florida have produced some pretty amazing dives! Im going back to the Keys in just a couple weeks actually.

After researching BC's I decided I loved the I3 system on the Aqualung Dimension so I went with that and a sweet Aqualung Legend for my second stage... Now its just sitting in the living room looking at me every day. :)

So if anyone in the area is looking for a buddy let me know, boat dives or beach dives, im down!!

There are plenty of future dive buddies here that love to get wet....no excuse to not get wet as often as you wish and/or can afford. :D
