Hello everyone!

I've been stalking ScubaBoards for a while and have finally decided to join up.

First off, I'm in Australia, but not from Australia. I'm living there semi permanently working in the outback with O&G.

Second off, despite my username: yes I am a grown man. Nothing makes me have a breakdown faster or have a bit of a tank banger tantrum than to see a juvenile sweetlips underwater. Fellow juvenile sweet lips enthusiasts please let me know, maybe we can start a sub-forum or something.

Third off, I've technically been diving for over 10 years (was certified when I was 13/14), but have gotten back into serious diving in the past two years or so. I'm now a DM and do the vast majority of my diving in Indonesia!

Here's a few things I like about Scuba Diving :

  1. JUVENILE SWEET LIPS AHHHHHHHHH

2. Interactions with the fish, whether big or small.
3. Hunting schooling trevally
4. Pinnacle / wall dives with current! Nothing feels better than watching fish swarm around you while you hang on for dear life feeling the tug on your mask and regs!

Things I hate :
  1. People who dive with GoPros and selfie sticks. Especially people trying to take a picture with a macro lens and a 4 ft selfie pole.
  2. The Moray Eel Tank Banger : The guy who bangs his tank whenever he sees any type of fish that's interesting to see once or twice, but just won't stop tank banging.
  3. Not diving or seeing juvenile sweetlips.

Pleasure to meet you all hopefully we'll meet in the forum soon enough!
