Hello!
My name is Brian, I live in Tucson, AZ. I'm a PADI Divemaster. I used to live in Jacksonville, FL. I got certified in 1999 in order to go to Florida Sea Base and participate in their Scuba program. I enjoyed it so much I went to work there in 2004. I ended up earning my Rescue and DM, and a 50T Masters USCG license working there, and I worked for them as a DM, Captain, and assistant program manager. I enjoy all kinds of diving, my favorites being wrecks and spearfishing. My wife is also certified, she got her PADI OW in 2011.
I became a member of SB in order to learn about some of the diving around here. I'm a relatively recent transplant to AZ, and I know there's some good diving around here (San Carlos? Himalaya Bay? Catalina Island? Lake Pleasant? Lake Powell?) and I'd like to talk to other divers and learn more about the local dives, and do some diving. (I'm also a member of spearboard, but since the wife doesn't spear, I joined here to get more general diving info).
Since I know every thread is useless without pics:
The wife and I at Peacock Springs:
Here fishy fishy fishy:
Unwavering professionalism:
Just another day at work:
One of my other loves:
Last but not least, taken by my friend Kyle, on New Years Day 2006:
