Hello All,

The Whiskey Creek Hideout Dive Center is the latest dive center added to PADI long list of many other dive centers. So a little bit about us we are located in John U. Llyod state park in Dania Beach, FL. where is that you may ask we are just south of Ft. Lauderdale and 10 minutes from the airport. We are starting off as a small dive center, but what do we have to offer. Well for classes or diving we are located right on the beach, our confined water training area is located right next to our equipment, and our shore dive is a 5 minute walk. The reef line is a short swim from the shore but not far at all before you start to see coral and all of the underwater creatures that we have come to love. I have already found several spotted Eagle Rays and several nurse sharks that call this reef their home, not to mention all up and down our beach right now we have turtle nest that we are waiting for them to hatch.

Considering all the attention the dive site 'Lauderdale By The Sea' gets, if you've got a good shore dive close at hand, it could be a serious draw. Particularly if you've got good parking; even better if people don't have to worry about parking meters. Might be worth your time to get some specifics out about that shore dive opportunity and an online listing of what you charge for tank rentals, weight rentals, etc...

Thank you for your input Richard, We have plenty of parking however we are inside a state park so there is a one time fee daily to enter the park. The fee is anywhere from $4 to $8 depending on the amount of people per vehicle. The shore dive is very nice and peaceful we have 3 miles of beach so even when the park is full it's never really crowded. The reef itself has lots of baby corals, small ledges, lots of tropical fish, and some nice big open sandy areas as well. We will be offering guided dive tours for $50 per diver that will also include tanks and weights. We have brand new Sherwood gear for classes and rentals, a full gear rental package is $35 and if you decide you don't want a guide then your tanks and weights will be $15

Is that tank & weights, or tanks & weights? $15 for 1 tank or 2? As for right now, what size tanks do you offer? Some of us big guys like steel 120's, if you happen to carry them. Even a 100 cf tank is better than an 80.

Richard.
