i've snorkled for years and for years have wanted to dive.. decided during a recent trip to Negril, i would become certified PADI open water. the course was fast and furious (which i think is par for the course at resorts)..

i studied my butt off and only missed 4 questions on the final exam (dive tables are a pain).... i was quite surprised to realize that i currently have, only 242 minutes of bottom time...

my first dives were more spectacular than i could imagine. i am hooked... too bad i live in minnesota, the current temp is 10 degrees and i not experienced in diving cold water

hope to learn much from the people here....

Welcome Aboard...jump in and make yourself at home!

Heya and welcome again and again and again to the board :D ..... This place is the perfect place to hang out during your long 'winter' SI. No worries about the tables, just keep using them, it will all make sense soon. I dive with a computer and still plan every dive with the tables just to keep my skills sharp. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop any of us a pm...

Cheers,
Vickie
