Hey There: Started diving a couple of years ago in Thailand. Since I am too much of a sissy to dive in here in the cold waters of the Northwest I have a great excuse for going back to Thailand often. Actaully have a long tripped planned for this March which I am very excited about. I have been renting for a while but am ready to start buying my own gear and really appreciate all the fantastic information. Thanks a bunch! Rob

Welcome to the board, Rob! When you say NW, I'm guessing you mean WA or BC? Too bad if you don't dive the area if that's the case; those spots are some of my top dream dive areas!

Welcome to the board!

Hi Neil: Thanks for the welcome. I see folks diving around where I live and love BC so maybe when I get back. I will have all the core gear and will just need to save up for a wet/dry suit. Let me know when you are planning to come out. Take care Rob
