Hello fellow SCUBA divers, after Bill51 turned me on to this website I just had to "Post" now I am confused, am I writing or ridding? Just to set the story right on Tenkiller Lake. I also was certified in this lake with a 6'' vis and the instructor having to shine a dive light in my face to see if I took of the mask, and me with contacts had to close my eyes, it was quite an exciting moment. To say the least when we were done and He saw the look on my face (smile from ear to ear) he told me if I could have that much fun in this vis, much less not panic, I could dive anywhere. Putting it lightly if Tenkiller is my only option to get wet, I will. But if I can get in warm water and see something besides perch and catfish I am a happy camper! It is a big lake and maybe at one time "The clearest" in Oklahoma, but I can't see it (or though it). The very best vis I have yet to encounter is about 5'. Question, where is the new SCUBA park at?
I just moved back from Florida and would like to check this out.

This is not the equestrian group.

Welcome and keep warm on your dives back there.

Welcome to the board!

Glad your friend sent you our way :happywave and hope you enjoy it here. You threw me on the "ridding" comment, tho...?

Until I saw this. :idea3: I ridden plenty of horses, but when a cowboy talks about a post, he's going to mend fence. :eyemouth:

Joe dives the lakes in the Texas Panhandle and northern New Mexico, but I won't. :pilot: I just work to pay for the next dive trip.

Teresa38, This is my way of saying Hi and Welcome to ScubaBoard!
My rendition of the musical "Oklahoma"

Brand new state!
Brand new state, gonna treat you great!
Gonna give you barley, carrots and pertaters,
Pasture fer the cattle,
Spinach and termayters!
Flowers on the prarie where the June bugs zoom,
Plen'y of air and plen'y of room,
Plen'y of room to swing a rope!
Plen'y of heart and plen'y of hope.
Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.
Oklahoma,
Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I
Sit alone and talk and watch a hawk
Makin' lazy circles in the sky.
We know we belong to the land
And the land we belong to is grand!
And when we say
Yeeow! Ayipioeeay!
We're only sayin'
You're doin' fine,
Oklahoma!
Oklahoma O.K.
