The December 1999 issue of Wired magazine described the K-10 as “a true underwater hot rod, the Hydrospeeder can cruise along at speeds of up to 6.9 mph. Its integrated buoyancy and breathing system can take you down to 100 feet for at least an hour. Your body hydrodynamically completes the form of the speeder, while foot pedals let you adjust your speed and make turns. K10 Hydrospeeder: $12,000. T&T Leasing: (800) 764 9996, +1 (954) 967 1142.”

There used to be websites such as www.hydrospeeder.com and http://www.diveironeagle.com/hydrospeeders.htm but they are no longer around.

This page has some info: http://www.divernet.com/bubbling/bub198.htm

The machine is/was sold by Marine Gear Corp Inc, tel: (770) 638-9222. They are/were located in Georgia.

Anyway, I think the company that produced the K-10 went out of business about six years ago.
