welcome to the boards. yo came to the right place. my advice is to ask any question to people here, gear dvice etc etc. many good people here to help you out and point you in the right direction. good luck and dive safe
 
College diving courses are usually a lot more complete than how most of us started. Enjoy it, and drop in here often...
