Just found this sight and got "wet" in Maui a couple of weeks ago. Going to finish up the training next month back in Maui. Still nervous and hooked already. Going back around Easter to Kihei-anyone else heading that way? Aloha

Thanks for the reply and info. I bought an old BC from a friend to just to rough around in for now. Too soon to really know what I want before diving more and just get soem buoyancy control. i should have called myself Elevatorgal for right no! I'm plus-sized, so really adjusting to extra buoyancy and weights. It's going to take lots more practice. Do you do much diving off the cape? How is it in the cold northeastern waters? Happy diving.

Welcome, Bubs.

Lots of SoCal divers here. You'll feel right at home (but wait, you want to feel right at Hawaii)...well, we do our best.

Cheers,
Doug

Have fun exploring all the different forums. Be sure to check out the local forums for our SoCal area. We have scheduled shore and boat dives thru out the month. Hopefully we will get to meet and get in a dive or two.
