Hey everyone, my name is Justin. I'm located in north alabama and I recently just got my ow cert. Haha and unfortunately I broke my leg right after I finished my training so I wont be able to dive for another month. I decided to do the next best thing to diving, join a diving forum!

If you're in Huntsville, you should check out SEAS. It's the Huntsville and North Alabama area dive club. See http://www.seasscuba.org.
We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month, except for December where we have a Christmas party. (You are welcome to come to the Christmas party. PM me for info). Otherwise we meet the 2nd Thursday of each month. 6:30pm at Greenhills Grille on Wynn Drive. Membership is open to all regardless of certification level. It's a great place to meet up with the local diving crowd and find new dive buddies.
Bummer. I had to set out for a month last year from a bad leg.
If you haven't yet, click Forums above and start going thru the list - looking for those of interest to you, especially your local dive club. Click the link in my Sig below to PM me if I can help you around here..
Great news for vacation divers who cannot talk themselves into buying a personal CO tank tester!
>> Rent one for a week or longer here <<
Now let's see more CO readings in your trip reports, ok...??
Welcome to SB. Good to have you with us. You will find plenty of dive buddies here. This is a great resource. Keep an eye on the Deep South forum. There are plenty of divers and planned dives in our area.
Welcome Justin,
There is quite a crowd of us here in Hsv, and Mike_s is right-on about SEAS. You should check it out. Where did you get your cert? If it was late this past summer, my wife may have been in your class.
