    Hi there from Tacoma, WA

This is my first posting.... I am pretty new to SCUBA, about 2 years-ish and need to beef up my dive buddies so that I can get some real experience! I dive in the Puget Sound and just love the feel of being underwater. My older brother certified when he was 17, way back in the early eighties and I was green with envy. I moved to the desert, (New Mexico) and then the rockies, (Colorado) and now that I am back near the water, I got my open water certification. I have a little over 20 shore dives and have seen great wolf eels but no octopods. So a big hello to everybody out there!

    Cheers,

    Skye

Welcome to ScubaBoard . . . Put a post in the Orca Bait forum when you're looking for somebody to dive with. There are quite a few of us Puget Sounders here.

Well...I used to live in Tacoma, Lakewood area. I have moved to warmer waters across the way, but I do miss it! Welcome to the board! You will find more dive buddies than you could ever imagine!

"finding more dive buddies than I could ever imagine" sounds like a good time and I will definitely try Orca Bait Forum, thanks for the info!
