Just wanted to introduce myself and see if I can be of any help with any Mares related questions. I'm located on the West Coast and have heard great things about Scuba Board. I'm looking forward to meeting new people!
Hi Jenn, welcome to Scubaboard.I was wondering how long my straps on my avanti quattros should last.Mine have gone through a couple of straps in the last two years. Is this normal? Other than the straps breaking, I love my Quattros and would not trade/give them up for anything!Thank you in advance!
Welcome also. My wife loves the Kaila BC, the most comfortable BC she has ever used. Is mares planning to make an AT system on it like the mens dragon AT. She just got a pair of mares quattro excel., this is a really nice fin.
we go diving about every 2 month, we do not do the cold water diving thing. We got back form Thailand in Feb, that is where she try the new bc. going to dive fla next month.
Thanks for your question and I am so happy that your wife loves her Kaila and her Quattro Excels, they both are great products.
In regard to Mares offering an AT for the ladies, Mares is always on top of giving you, the consumer, what you are asking for most so stay tuned!!!
I would have bought her an AT verison of the Kaila for xmas if it was available. It seems like a very good system. It nice to see more gear design for women now aday. It makes getting proper fitting gear easier.
Mares has taken great pride in being the only manufacturer out there offering an entire collection of dive gear for women that is actually designed by women called the Shedives. We offer jacket style and back inflate BCD's, regulator, mask, fins and snorkels, and even a drysuit and bags. Check out the website at Mares - stand for diving
