I just don't log dives
I'm going to be taking classes soon with my wife and maybe a few more friends.

Diving has been something I've been interested in for a long time so it seems like its about time to get to it. Hopefully next year we'll be able to go on a trip somewhere warm and do some diving and move to a more hospitable climate in the future to dive more regularly.

I'm not expecting to want to dive a lot around here, but who knows, maybe I'll change my mind after open water training in a local lake.

Anyone else from the Minneapolis area?

Welcome. I am a relatively new member of Scubaboard and I have found it to be very useful for getting information, and a fun way to do it. My wife, my then 15 year-old son, and I got certified about 3 and a half years ago, and it was a great decision. I hope you find it to be the same. As for Minnesota connections, I can't help, but I am sure that there are other Scubaboarders near you.
