Greetings from Minnesota!

Hello everyone! My name is Ben and I am a 25 year old grad student from Mankato, Minnesota. Ever since my wife and I visited Hawaii on our Honeymoon 2 years ago, we have had a definate interest in learning to dive (despite our current landlocked location... good ol' Minnesota.) I think I am going to get us certified for her Christmas present this year, and I was recommended to this forum to pick up on some of the lingo and knowledge.

If anyone has any recommendations on an instructor or a certification course to take around the Twin Cities area (I live in Mankato, 60 miles south) please let me know.
