Hi all. I'm new to diving but eager to get started. I'll be finishing up my PADI Open Water at the end of this month, then I'm headed to Ft. Lauderdale. I'm 23 and work as an ER tech in a trauma center. I will be going to school for my MSN in January. I'm adventurous and I love the outdoors, so diving is a perfect fit for me. I'm mainly interested in traveling some place warm with colorful reefs, but great lakes wrecks are of some interest to me.

Welcome. There is a lot of cool stuff to see locally. Lake Michigan has some awesome wrecks.

Good luck with open water. Duane's right Lake Michigan has some awesome wrecks. Get some experience under your belt and find what the kind or kinds of diving you like.
