profile picture question

I must be retarded because can not figure out for the life of me how to add a profile picture. I uploaded it, it shows that it is there, but than when I post, I don't see it next to my post. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

A profile pic is not the same as your avatar.

Your profile pic is on your profile. (user page)
Your avatar is what is on your posts - my avatar is the clown fish

On your control panel you should see on the left menu about 1/2 way down - settings
edit signature
edit avatar
that is what you want to change

and nooooo your not retarded

and where can you change New Member to Instructor?

Left hand Menu
1/2 way down
*EDIT AVATAR
and where can you change New Member to Instructor?
Also under your user profile
You have to request to become a member of the instructor group.
See Group preferences
have to send your Inst # with some other info

Click on UserCP on the bar near the top, then on the left there is a column. Click on "Edit Avatar" and you should be good to go.
