Hi guys,

i´m a spanish girl who has come to melbourne for job stuff during the next 3 months.

I was planning to spend the last two weeks travelling around adelaide (wanna see the leafy sea dragooon!!) and after that going to ningaloo for 10 days or so.. do the locals have any suggestions???
My boyfriend is coming over the last month, so we were wondering about shore dives around melbourne and adelaide... Is it possible in Ningaloo? You have a lot of dives sites in jetties and piers here in the south, right? are they easy? suggestions?? (again :D)

Hope to be around for a long time! and, you know, if anyone does come to the Canary Islands soon... let me know!! We also have some nice spots to visit!

Cheers!

welcome aboard

Hi Leia,

I can't help you with Adelaide or Ningaloo, but there are quite a few shore dives (mostly under piers) between 30 and 90 minutes from Melbourne. There are also a lot of boat dives in and around Port Phillip Bay - from reef dives to wrecks, including a few world war 1 submarines. Dive Vic are probably the biggest charter company - you can also see some dive site descriptions on that site.

Thanks a lot for all the info and greetings!!! :D

Don, i already did a search and this forum has such a lot of information, it´s great!! :D

aMc10, i´m gonna check for this Dive Vic, i´ll keep you informed!

Cheers.
