Not an expert yet, 21 dives, five in Utila & five in Belize, one in Lake Michigan yesterday (Oct 12 2008) and my first free flow, by the time I sorted things out I had a few psi (gauge read zero) I keep by buddy close just in case and it paid off at 90 ft
down. The regulator is a Oceanic GT3 CDX5 water was about 41 F. I'll get this reg serviced and contempating to get an Apeks 'free flow device'. I'll post later if I did and how this works.

21 dives is a good start! I fondly remember visiting Lake Michigan as a child, very different lake now! And bravo for daring to dive that cold water, welcome to the forum and have a great time here.
