Hi everyone! I am very new to diving - just got open water certified. I live in the midwest and have only dived in a quarry. I am going to dive in gulf coast of Florida later this month, any advise? Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard.

Scuba diving should come with a warning label: Caution - scuba diving has been found to be highly addicitive and hazardous to your wealth.

Mctammy welcome to scubaboard and scuba. Have a great trip to Fla.

Not sure what part of the gulf coast but it is Pensacola and you get to dive the Oriskany have a great time watch your depth and time closely.

Welcome and congrats on your OW

Welcome, I don't get on here as much as I should but this is a great source of info. Have fun!

Hello and congrats,

I am also a new diver, recently certified and will be in Pensacola next weekend for the Blue Angels show and plan to make a few dives if possible. Good luck and be safe!
