Hey, new guy here...

Just thought I'd say hey! I also can't seem to figure out how to make the little "make a post already" banner go away. I hope this does it. I'm new to diving, but really enjoy it. I like looking for treasure above and below the water. I have had some luck in the nearby Potomac river and hope to give Venice Fl a shot this winter while I'm down there. This is a great site and I've already picked up many tidbits of VERY useful information. I hope to see ya out there!

Hi Aquachigger,
Welcome to ! Hope to see alot of you here.
Where in Maryland R U? I have lots of friends in Columbia, Annapolis and the DC area. I know that's eastern and you're western, but heck, it's still Maryland!
Take care,

Thanks George. I'm near Williamsport. That's about 1.5 hours from DC and world away from the bustle! I was going to complain about my local currrent water temp (41) but seeing your from NY, I guess you would consider that balmy. I'll be around....

Balmy, heck it's down right tropical seeming now. My front yard lake has a thin sheet of ice almost 3/4 of the way across it. Guess it's time to put away the 3mm shorty and get out the 5mm one.

Take care,
George

IIIIIIII matey,, So its treasure you want! How does prehistoric sharks teeth as big as your hand sound???? Well, if you ever make it Charleston, South Carolina, there is a charter with Captain Bill that will take to the best places for these and other artifacts of the civil war. Beware it is a bit of a challenge because of the constant motion of the currents which is what keeps the artifacts turning up.... give it a whirl (get it, current whirl...o well) have fun.....

Hey Aquachigger!

Look me up when you get to Venice. Maybe we can help you find some fossils!
