Hi - another newbie to the forum. Just qualified at the weekend as PADI OW. Currently based in Tampa, FL - but really from the UK. My job gets me around a bit, so I don't know really when or where I am most of the time!!
Wouldn't mind some advice on wetsuits - i.e. why are all the wetsuits for *cough* "heavier" people, also designed for people 8 foot tall? I need to get one fairly soon!! Has anyone else had this problem?
As for the suit..... Just don't look at US sized suits, they tend to be "slightly" BIGGER.
Just look at european dealers,if you need a realy small/slim size look at Italian suits/sizes.
welcome to SB.
Gongrat with your OWD certification.
If your job brings you around and you don't know where you will stay a two pieces 5 mm longjohn with hood is an good alround option (it covers most the temperatures) Drysuits are $$$ expensive and requires special training. Ofcourse if you dive extreem could waters you need one.
Scuba shops are bad about selling shorties because they're easier to fit. Don't fall for that.

Great news for vacation divers who cannot talk themselves into buying a personal CO tank tester!
>> Rent one for a week or longer here <<
Now let's see more CO readings in your trip reports, ok...??
