(For information in Russan language there is much more worlds than in English so i can write 2 or 3 different Russian words to each English world.
For example "Diving" means diving with scuba or jumping into water. In Russian the is 2 different words.) Sometimes i think than i did't know Russain...

About diving in St.Petersburg: There is a lot of peoples who dive only
in warm sea (Red sea and etc.) I think that they are not "real"
divers. Real divers go dive in our lakes and rivers where temperature
even in summer is about 38-45F (below 30Ft always cold). Prices in
Russian shop are awful so you have to have a lot money to buy special
equipment for cold water (such as dry suit and cold water regs)
In St.Petersburg dive forum (
www.diveforum.spb.ru) is 2240 members. And i think only
10-15% of them go diving regularly.
In St.Petersburg living aprox. 5 000 000 people so only little part of
citizens go diving.
