My name is Ta and I'm new here. I was referred here by Merlin, who is the bombdiggity, if you didn't know.
I'm from Tampa Florida, but serve in the military. I'm currently serving overseas and am trying to plan a trip to Australia to dive the Great Barrier Reef. Perhaps I may learn something here.
Lol, I didn't know I was bombdiggity. Glad you signed up! There are even dive outfits in your current neck of the woods if you had the hankering to get certified before you go.
No. I initially signed up to help him out, but I do want to learn a lot about diving. The water soothes me like very few things can. There seems to be quite a few Floridians here too!
Will be diving the Red Sea Soon; But Not Soon Enough!

PhoShizzle87,
Welcome to ScubaBoard...I would take advantage of the MWR if they offer a Open Water course. I dove with some Navy guys via a MWR program back in December around Christmas who were in port in Dubai. Had a blast with them.
